Catching up

Hello February! So you are finally here!

Aren’t you guys loving the new year? Coz, I do!  Last month has been pretty jam-packed for our little family. So many appointments, birthdays, and meet-ups. Plus, Dane and I are both in school keeping ourselves productive. David, as usual, is extremely busy. His company is expanding and he got a raise this year, which I am so happy about and proud of him for! Way to go big guy!

We also celebrated David and Dane’s birthdays last month. Can you believe that my little patootie is now 3 years old? Ohh, how time flies! We didn’t celebrate Dane’s birthday the way we used to do. No big party for Dane this year. I just could not make the time to prepare a big party since I am so busy in school. We just booked a nice Sunday brunch at this really nice hotel for the three of us and enjoyed the moment. Easy and stress free 🙂

I have to say that I am quite happy how our year started out. So much fun, laughter and blessings. I know that it is going to be a very exciting and busy year for us. There will be lots of travelling and productive things to do ahead, which I am excited about. Life is truly beautiful! I can’t thank God enough for all the blessings and surprises that he has been showering us for the past couple of years. All praise and glory to you my Lord.

How was your January people? I hope everyone is having a great weekend filled with love and laughter.

We are not ready yet for him to grow up. We need a time machine to freeze the moment. We love you so much chuchi bear!

Pumpkin Patch 2013

The weather was so beautiful yesterday. That gave us the opportunity to visit the Pumpkin Patch. I really thought we might not make it this year because of the record amounts of rain, but thank goodness, the sun came out unexpectedly and just like that… we were out and about!

We were all excited, especially me, because I remembered how much fun Pumpkin Patch had been before. It has become a tradition in our household.

Last year was a blast with little Dane, so I knew that this was going to be even more exciting for him since he has grown up so much by now that he can fully participate in most of the kids’ activities. And who would n0t love to taste all the scrumptious pumpkin treats, the fresh apple juice which was freshly squeezed, the apple picking, the straw maze for the kiddos, the entertaining, super cool and creative animal creations made of pumpkin, the fresh air and the people.

Oh well, I’ll let the pictures do the talking before I bore you with my story.

My little man was beyond excited when he stumbled towards this Stegosaurus at the front porch

Pray for Zamboanga

Sending thoughts and prayers to all my fellow Zamboangeños, especially my family and friends out there. To my brother Junarey in the Marines dept. Please be safe everyone and don’t be scared. We have God who will protect you, just hold on tight to his promise.

“The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the most high your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways;—Psalm 91 9:11
